I’m a wedding + event content creator rooted in Phoenix, AZ, but I’m always down to travel for love (especially the offbeat, genuine, wildly-you kind). Amanda and John love tattoos, and they knew they wanted to incorporate them in their wedding somehow.

Originally, they thought about just getting their wedding date. But then they had the idea of getting “freckles” on their hands, each freckle being the spot where the others fingers land when they are holding hands.

Love is love ♥️

One of my favorite elements from Adam & Keith’s wedding was how they chose to honor Keith’s mom who had recently passed from cancer.

A single white chair was placed in the front row to save a seat for where she would have sat and as family members walked down the aisle, they each placed a single white rose on the chair.

Later, those roses were used to create a bouquet and placed on a table where guests could write personalized notes for A & K and the chair will now be displayed in their home as a reminder of all of the love they were surrounded by on their wedding day.

When you’re at a wedding celebrating the union of two grown men (Keith’s words, not mine 😜), you can’t help but think about the quiet ache of those who choose not to be there because they don’t agree with who someone loves.

But Keith’s mom? She loved and supported this couple from day one. Fully, proudly, and without hesitation. I can only imagine how much she wanted to be here for this day, and even as a wedding vendor, I can promise you her presence was deeply felt.

Elements like this make a wedding day truly unforgettable, and it was such an honor to capture such a heartfelt tribute to Keith’s mom. This room was filled with grief, yes… but also so much love, celebration, & support. ♥️

There is something so special about being able to witness such a genuine, heartfelt love. I’ve been wrestling with how to show up here and whether or not it is even my place to say something on a page about love + weddings… but I ultimately decided that it was important to share this here.

Because love *is* political. It is deeply influenced by power structures, social norms, and how couples are treated in society.

And beyond the love of two people standing at an altar, love is also in communities. In families chosen and inherited. In friendship that carry us. In neighbors who show up. And in the collective care we offer one another as human beings.

That being said: if you are a bigot, anti-science, anti-lgbtq+, pro-maga, and pro-ice… my content is not for you. My business is not for you. Our values and morals do not align.

I am very aware of the privilege I have in this country and if the worst I face is losing business, I know it’s nothing compared to what others are facing.

Still, I am shaking as I share this. Will I still be able to pay my bills and provide for my children? Will couples and businesses still choose to work with me? I really don’t know. But I do know that I cannot build a career or following by staying silent about what matters.

**All hate comments will be deleted. Not because I feel incapable of defending my stance, but because cruelty isn’t up for debate in a space that will I will always work to ensure is rooted in inclusivity, love, and care.

While I’m actually obsessed with creating unforgettable wedding reels (and that’s what you’re hiring me for), I still always try my best to contribute to the smooth execution of your day. Even if a task is “out of scope.”

That means stepping away from the iPhone and stepping in when the moment calls for it.

Because rather than focusing on all of the luxury and posed shots, I’d much rather capture the candid in-between moments. The ones that often get forgotten in the midst of the wedding day rush.
